One of the big Drilling Fluids companies made a test in their drilling Fluids operation they placed Gilsonite instead of Fluids loss control additives in their operation and after a trial operation, they found that when they used the Asian Gilsonite FLC grade in their operation the fluids loss performance improved and the additives cost reduced too and they also saw that the HT/HP fluid loss values go down and remain consistently stable with a tighter emulsion and better quality of filter cake.
